The experience

This is the Jacó-area canopy tour, run at Los Sueños rather than the Quepos course our Manuel Antonio guests ride. It is a different and longer setup: 15 platforms linked by 14 cables totaling roughly 3.5 km of line, including one stretch near 2,400 feet, set in the rainforest above Herradura Bay.

It is an easy-to-reach adventure from Jacó, Herradura, and Hermosa, with a strong safety record and certified bilingual guides. The first platform is always the biggest moment; after that, most people are grinning.

At the canopy site, your guide runs a full safety briefing with a demonstration, then gears you up. Between zips you move from platform to platform while the guide points out the wildlife and plants of the Los Sueños rainforest. The course mixes fast lines with the longer runs, so there is a range of intensity built in.

It is a separate course from our Manuel Antonio canopy tour near Quepos, set up for guests staying in the Jacó, Herradura, and Hermosa area.
