We enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend it if you want to go rafting in Costa Rica. We saw lots of wildlife and the whole operation was smooth and easy.

She spotted so many animals for us, she’s great at focusing her telescope very quickly and brilliant at taking photos for us using her telescope.
The tour was around 4-5 hours long, we saw 3 types of monkeys, lizards, different birds, all sorts of insects and crabs. Then we swam and enjoyed the gorgeous warm Pacific Ocean for around an hour before walking along both sides of the Tombolo.
The driver was there waiting when we came out of the park once we were out of the local streets which Karla whisked us through quickly and easily. The fruit, snacks and ice tea were very welcome.

Our guide Brenda did such a great job of pointing out animals... read more that were camouflaged in the rainforest that we would never found on our own. Adult 2 and 3 toed sloths and a young sloth newly on its own. We saw all 3 types of monkeys native to Costa Rica as well. Also colorful toucans and other native birds and animals. Brenda was so knowledgeable of the nature, plants, animals and history. Her information was so helpful! She took photos for us through her lenses that will provide us with wonderful memories! She was so kind and also professional at the same time. The hike was a highlight of our vacation to Costa Rica! If you have a chance to do this tour while in Costa Rica - don't hesitate - GO! and ask for Brenda!

Brenda had an incredible way of picking out animals that you could never see in plain sight, grabbing them... read more quickly in her telescopic lens, and making it easy for us to see them close up even though if they were high up in the trees. She also had an uncanny way of being able to obtain pictures on our phone through the scope for us to bring home. She provided tons of information, and taught us about the history of Manuel Antonio National Park, the beaches, and about birds, plants, trees, and animals. She engaged our two young sons, and the tour was incredibly informative and it was super special having her lead us there. We end of the day at Manuel Antonio Beach, which is an amazing place to catch a wave! Highly recommend this tour if you want information that you cannot otherwise know and to see animals you might not otherwise spot just from going to the National Park by yourself.

We did not rent a car, so having transportation lined up for each of the activities was helpful. Our guides were knowledgable and able to conduct tours and lessons in Spanish and English. I have already recommended our itinerary and Tucanes to our friends at home! The whitewater rafting really is season dependent - be sure to ask what level the water is likely to be during your trip.
