The Savegre River is more than just a rafting destination. It is a full immersion into one of the most untouched rainforest ecosystems in Central America. Widely recognized as the cleanest river in the country, the Savegre provides a refreshing mix of exciting Class II and III rapids, scenic flat water, and primary jungle views. This tour is the perfect choice for families, first-time rafters, or anyone wanting to balance adrenaline with the natural beauty of Costa Rica.
The Adventure, From Jungle Transit to River Rapids
-
The Scenic Route: Your trip begins with a beautiful drive through vast African palm plantations and small, rural villages. Depending on your starting point, you will enjoy between 60 and 120 minutes of coastal scenery before reaching our river entry point.
-
Expert Instruction: Before getting on the water, you will receive a full safety briefing. Our 6-passenger rafts are led by professional bilingual guides, and a safety kayaker always stays close by for extra security.
-
The River Flow: During your 2.5-hour journey, you will navigate technical turns and rhythmic rapids. You will also have the chance to swim in calm pools or stand under hidden jungle waterfalls accessible only by the river.
-
Traditional Dining: After completing the run, we head back to our private ranch in the village of Londres. You can change into dry clothes before sitting down to a delicious, authentic Costa Rican meal prepared locally.
