Booking & payment

The fastest way is to message us on WhatsApp at +506 8655-3434 or use the Check Availability button on any tour page. You can also email info@tucanestours.com with your dates and group size and our team will confirm everything for you.

Most tours are book now, pay later, so you reserve your spot and settle up securely before or on the day of the tour. We accept major cards through secure, encrypted servers.

Yes. We use secure servers and keep our software up to date so any data you share is protected, used only for your transaction, and never resold.

Cancellations are 100% refundable with at least 48 hours notice. Within 48 hours we will always try to reschedule you to another date or tour where possible.

Yes. Depending on the tour and the size of your group we can usually work out a better rate. Contact us directly with your numbers and we will put together a quote.

Most tours are priced per person. A few, such as private fishing charters, are priced per boat. Rack rates are shown before Costa Rica's 13% VAT, and each tour page lists what is included.

On tour day

Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early so we can check you in and confirm everyone is accounted for. The same applies if you are catching the shuttle from your hotel in Jacó or Manuel Antonio.

Yes. Round-trip hotel pickup is included on most tours departing from Manuel Antonio and Jacó, and on our San José day trips. Your confirmation lists your pickup time and place.

It varies by tour, so check the What to bring section on each tour page. In general: sun protection, a hat, insect repellent, a camera, and for water or active tours a change of clothes.

Light, comfortable clothing works for most tours. Bring closed shoes for hikes, horseback riding and rafting, and quick-dry clothes plus a towel for any water activity.

Tours generally run rain or shine, since a passing shower is part of the tropics and often brings out the wildlife. If weather makes a tour unsafe we will reschedule you or arrange a refund.
